Celebrity Sandwich: ?love Talks Cheesesteaks on Twitter

Our favorite Philly hip hop superstar / late night front man, ?uestlove is a frequent tweeter, and has been talking a lot about sandwiches lately. He recently listed his favorite cheesesteaks in Philadelphia (four letter word warning) and claims Genaro’s serves a heart attack on bread. He also emphasizes that the best hoagies can be found in New Jersey but claims Melano’s in South Philly is foodgasmic.

    Nice shout out to Cosmi's, but even though they have won best of philly cheesesteak twice, I can't really get into it. However, their hoagies are on point and if its after 2pm, it's my go-to hoagie spot. Whatever you get there, get it on the seeded roll. In the summer their caprese is the bomb but not worthwhile when tomatoes aren't in season.

    Never heard of Melano's and can't find it in the Yellow Pages; I'll need to swing by that block one of these days.
