Yes — great roast pork at Wasko's and great hoagies as well. Both best with sharp provolone and long hots. Though Wasko's is on a busy street (Gay St.) it's not on one of the routes people would travel “through” Phoenixville (like 23, 29, or 113) and it's not in the business area of Bridge St. As a result, most people will miss Wasko's unless they really go looking for it (or live or work nearby). So take note of the posts here and make a special trip to find it!

Went back for seconds today. Tried the prime rib, onions, and prov with horseradish sauce. The sandwich was phenominal! If you haven't been here yet, you better get a move on!

People near and far should try this mans' sandwiches. So friggin' good, on sturdy fresh rolls from Conshy Bakery, they are on my opinion,some of the best I've had. And I've had all the heavywieghts of sandwich kings. DiNics, John's, Tony Lukes,Paesanos and Sessano's of Norristown. Fantasic roast pork Italians w/ super sharp prov and spinach, so juicy and tender with great distribution of cheese and greens. I also had a Italian ZEP, better than what I've had in Norristown, known for its numerous Zep shops.Next time I go, I'm checking out their “Prime Rim Sandwich”,prov wit!

Just got back from my usual Saturday visit to Wasko's. Amazing as usual. I always get the pork sandwich with hot and sweet peppers and sharp provolone. And I hate to contradict the original poster... but you gotta get it wet!

The photo is beautiful. Thanks for posting. Jim takes such great care of visitors and the food is out of this world. There really isn't a sandwich shop that can touch what Wasko's puts together!

I had the privilege of serving next to some Wasko's folks at a charity event this summer and they are just truly great people.

The Penn Valley Pub in (or near?) Bala Cynwyd also melts the cheese on top of their roast pork sandwich, though this one looks better.
