Nothing says “Party Time” like a deli tray.  It’s the official menu of life events in America:  births, birthdays, graduations, engagements, religious ceremonies and family get-togethers of all sorts.  Even staid business meetings get a much-needed jolt of life when a tray of sandwiches enters the room.

Stacks of sandwiches, pickles, condiments and slaw, it’s a bouquet of meats as pleasing to the eye as it is to the stomach.  Whether it’s hoagies, rye or rolls, the deli tray is always a hit; the talk of the party; the star of the show.

When’s the last time that you ordered a big deli spread?  Let us know in the comments.

Last ordered a deli spread from Sarcone's in South Philly. Delicious meats and perfect bread...can't beat it!

If only all deli trays were as good as Sarcone's. The office cafeteria deli tray is such a let down.
